Frank either walks to school and catches the bus home or catches the bus to school and walks home. Both ways, it takes him 1 hour to travel to and from school. If he were to walk to and from school, it would take him 1 1/2 hours. If Frank were to catch the bus to and from school, how long would it take him? |

We think it is half in hour
ReplyDeletebecause it is 1 hour but to get to school it takes Half of an hour to go home, and half of an hour to get to school So that how we found out it was Half in hour .
Faa'ao,Taeshell and I
I think it is 2 an a half hour cause if walk to school it will take 1 hour 30min and back from school all the way home it will take him 1hour
ReplyDeleteFrank either walks to school and catches the bus home or catches the bus to school and walks home. Both ways, it takes him 1 hour to travel to and from school. If he were to walk to and from school, it would take him 1 1/2 hours. If Frank were to catch the bus to and from school, how long would it take him?
ReplyDeletecause Frank travelled to get to school , it takes half an hour to go home , both ways.
1 hour and 30 minutes
half of 30 minutes is 15 minutes , half of 1 hour is 30 minutes....
so 15 minutes + 30 minutes = 45 minutes
so that's all I came up with..... 45 MINUTES
We think the answer is 45min
ReplyDeletebecause, it say's that it would take him 1 1/2 hours to walk to school, but if he were to travel on bus, to and from school it would take him how long?
In this case we halved 1 1/2 hours, which added upto 45 min
Me and Faa'ao and Taeshell
ReplyDeleteThink it is 45 minutes because a half of in hour is 30 minutes and a half of 30 is 15 so that is how we got 44
Alexandria and Jessica thinks the answer is 45
ReplyDeleteBecause we think that if Frank walks to school and back.It takes him 1 hour to travel from home and to school. So it took him 1 1/2.These is how we came up with the answer 45...... So we though that if we halved 1/2 it will be 15 then we halved 1 hour and it was 30 minutes so we think the answer is 45 minutes.
MaryL, Jay and I think that the answer is 30 minutes.
ReplyDeleteWe think that because if it takes an hour to walk to school and bus back home and it will take an 1 and 1/2 to walk to and from school so we took 30 minutes away from 1 hour and we got 30 minutes.
And that is how we got our answer.
Me ,Mateo and Ben think the answer 45min
ReplyDeleteBecause, it say's that it would take him 1 1/2 hours to walk there and back. so we think is 45min because halve 90. Which bring us to 45
Lave, Xavier, Dillon and I think that it takes Frank 30 minutes to bus to school and bus back home.
ReplyDeleteWe think that, because it says for him to walk to school and bus back home, it takes him 1 hour. So we figured out that for Frank to walk to school it takes him 45 minutes and to bus back home it takes him 15 minutes which equals 1 hour. Then it says if Frank walks to school and walks back home it takes him a total time of 1 hour and a half. Next thing we did was we figured out what was half of 1 hour and a half which is 45 minutes.
So for Frank to bus to school it takes him 15 minutes and for him to bus back home it takes him another 15 minutes, so it takes 30 minutes for him to bus to school and back.

ReplyDeleteFrank either walks to school and bus home or bus to school and walk home and it takes him an hour. So if he catch the bus there and back we think the answer is 45... because 30min + 15min is 45 so that why we think the answer is 45.
We think it would be 50 minutes and 25 minutes just to take the bus there. If it takes him 1 and a half hours to walk there and back.
