The Floating Cushion

Have you ever been for a ride on a cushion of air? Well I have. It is called a hovercraft. I would like to tell you about my amazing experience on this machine. Yesterday afternoon I got to ride up and down the path on this hovercraft. Students from Room 18 couldn't wait to have an opportunity to ride on it. There was a lot of shouting and screaming for joy and happiness. I hope I get another turn soon!

    How lucky are you guys! Isara had told me about Mr Barks' Hovercraft, and now I have seen for myself! It looks like you've all been having a lot of fun on the 'floating cushion'. I loved your expression the 'cushion of air', it's sounds like something I should try out.

    How exciting for you, Naomi. It must have been an awesome ride. Sifa had mentioned Mr Barks hovercraft and I actually got to see it when I came to see Mr Barks on 'Meet the Teacher' evening. You are so lucky to work with great people at your school. Happy writing.
